Horse Show Shirts
01-05-2006
Being somewhat of a sewing lady, myself, I can't help but admire the workmanship in Pat Irish's Show Shirts. Oh, sure, there's a lot of people these days making horse show apparel - but not all of them dedicate as much attention to detail as Pat Irish and her two daughters, who operate their business out of Montana.
Pat Irish has been sewing for more than 50 years. She's done everything from high production sewing - to sewing intimate apparel for some of the big names in the business. To Pat, things like straight seams and finished edges are important. Pat takes time to shop for the best fabrics and interfacings to make sure the garment is the best it can be from the inside out - literally.
All the glitz comes later. And, yes, there's glitz. Lots of it. Rhinestone collars, cuffs, and sparkles where there should be.
Along with the popular zip front pleasure and rail shirts, Pat's shirts have gained a foothold in the reining world. They're flashy, they're comfortable, they wear well, and they're easy to care for.

By the way, one of the things that sets Pat's show shirts apart from so many is they are easy care. This translates to: no more dry cleaning hassles. No more trips to the dry cleaners between shows, no more cleaning bills, and no more waiting to pick up your clothes at the last minute... as you're heading out of town for a show... with a trailer full of horses. These are truly wash and wear. The fabrics have been pre-washed, pre-shrunk, and tested for color-fastness so there aren't any unpleasant surprises.
No wonder the reiners like Pat's shirts: you can spend all day sweating in the heat of a dusty arena - and just toss your shirt in the sink to hand wash it. They come out looking great and the sparkles stay stuck!
Pat is gearing up for 2006 and will be putting new designs online throughout the year. And, if you hurry, there's even a few shirts on clearance at very good prices. Visit Pat Irish Show Shirts to see the latest styles - with plenty more on the way.
