Sport of Horse Fighting

Horse fighting is a sport practiced in the Phillippines.

Just when you thought the collective IQ of a culture couldn't be any lower, the so-called sport of "horse fighting" has been exposed in the Phillippines, protected as a "cultural tradition".

Apparently, monster trucks and professional wrestling can't hold the public's interest or satisfy the appetite for barbarism for sporting Phillippinos; a culture that also enjoys such wholesome entertainment as pitbull and cock fights.

You're encouraged to write letters to the Phillippine ambassador to politely ask them to enforce the humane treatment of animals. After all, you wouldn't want to offend the sensibilities of a distinguished politician or suggest what another culture practices offends the rest of the civilized world.

(But I would, anyway.)
