Digital Image Retouching Gallery

This was a very dramatic AQHA World Show action photo. Unfortunately, the print supplied had unusual streaks, colors blurs, and cracking. After repairing and correcting the damage from the original photo scan, the background was partially removed and the arena dirt was blended and repeated horizontally across the page as a lower resolution background tile.

The remaining image components took precedence over the less significant arena dirt, and served as the elements for this web site's splash page.
